We think that this reduced navigation not only enhances efficiency but also contributes to a more user-friendly experience. It’s very important to note that if you choose to mute status updates from a particular contact, you won’t see them when you open the conversation with that contact.
The feature to view status updates from the conversation screen is available to some beta testers who install the latest WhatsApp beta for Android update from the Google Play Store, and it is rolling out to even more people over the coming weeks.
