DRIVERS are only just realising that there’s a household product they already own that can get their cars sparkling in seconds – and it only costs 25p.
Rowell&GP took to TikTok to share the cheap hack that will save you both time and money.

Captioned “Engine bay cleaning cheap hack!” the one-minute long post reveals the bathroom item that can also be used for scrubbing down vehicles.
The man in the clip begins by showing followers a bar of soap and an old plastic toothbrush.
He then begins scrubbing the bristles onto the bar until it begins to foam on the brush head.
When there’s enough soap on the toothbrush, the cleaning whizz starts to scrub the underside of his car’s bonnet which appears black with thick grime.
Shockingly, just seconds into the scrubbing the dirt already starts lifting – turning the black area to a light grey.
He carries on the motion for a few more seconds before showing viewers other areas of the bonnet he had already cleaned that were glistening white.
The cleaning expert then goes back to his cheap little bar of soap and lathers up the toothbrush again.
Round two of the scrubbing sees the area transform from grey to white before he begins brushing in the opposite direction to even out the product.
After just two toothbrush sets, the bloke grabs a damp towel and gives the area a smooth wipe down.
In one singular motion, he drags the washcloth down the newly scrubbed section and reveals the glistening white results.
The cheap hack appears to make the bonnet look like brand new – while only using three tools you already have in your cupboards at home.
The TikToker ends the helpful video by panning the underside of his bonnet after carrying out the hack on the entire metal slab, and viewers were shocked at how it was left gleaming.
While racking up over 17.1k likes and over 170 comments, one TikTok user wrote: “Wow thank you, I’ll clean all the neighbours cars!”.
Another said: “Thanks for the tip boss, I needed this”.
A third even suggested: “The same can be done for a yellowing headlight”.
