COMMUNITY EXAMPLES
After announcing a new interface for the community page in the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.13.11 update, WhatsApp keeps working on improving communities by adding further enhancements. In particular, we have discovered that WhatsApp has plans to offer users practical examples of how to create a community on their platform. This feature was released with the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.17.2 update, which is available on the Google Play Store:
As you can see in this screenshot, the community page introduces a new feature called “See examples community”. Through this feature, users will be provided with guidance on how to create a community on WhatsApp, and how to add or join groups. WhatsApp also suggests how to reach community members by using the community announcement group to easily share important updates with everyone in the community.
In our opinion, we can imagine the reasons why WhatsApp is introducing some examples about how to create a community. WhatsApp aims to encourage users to explore communities, which bring together people with similar interests. By offering examples on how to create and join a community, WhatsApp might finally convince more users to give it a try. If you want to learn more about how to create a community, you can visit the official FAQ shared by WhatsApp.
The ability to view community examples is available to some beta testers that install the latest updates of WhatsApp beta for Android, and it’s rolling out to even more people over the coming days.
